Dell’argomento si è occupato pure Vladimir Tonić, che di recente ha pubblicato l’opera “Tragom ‘Alpskog bedema’ u Rijeci i Hrvatskoj” (“Alla ricerca del ‘Vallo Alpino’ a Fiume e in Croazia”) per i tipi dell’associazione “Stato Libero di Fiume” (“Slobodna Drava Rijeka”). Tonić, di professione ingegnere navale, non è nuovo a opere del genere. Ha già portato a termine ricerche di carattere simile in collaborazione con J. Kaufmann, negli USA (“Fortress Third Reich”) e, a quattro mani con A. Jankovič-Potočnik, il libro “Rupnikova linija in alpski zid”. Suoi disegni di fortificazioni italiane e jugoslave sono usciti su riviste specializzate in Francia, Slovenia e Gran Bretagna. Una ricerca di Tonić sulle fortificazioni italiane nel territorio di Zara ha visto la luce nel 2009 nel Vermont.

dělostřelecké tvrze, pěchotní tvrz
Na hřebeni, který blokoval přístup do italské enklávy v Rijece, byly ve 30. letech 20. století postaveny tři velké tvrze, z toho dvě s kopulemi pro kanóny. Všechny tvrze přežily poválečné demolice a dochovalo se v nich 22 kusů pancéřových zvonů a kopulí.

Na grebenu koji je blokirao pristup talijanskoj enklavi u Rijeci, tridesetih velikih utvrda izgrađene su 1930-ih, od kojih su dvije s topnom kupolom. Sve tvrđave preživjele su poslijeratnu rušenju i sastojale su se od 22 komada oklopnih zvona i kupola.

VELEBIT – Tužna priča o prvoj i jedinoj hrvatskoj podmornici

Odrekli se pola milijarde radi jer se “nije imalo” 10-ak milijuna

Hrvatska ratna mornarica u svom sastavu imala je i podmornicu. Iako namijenjena diverzantskom djelovanju, dovršena je godinu nakon Domovinskog rata. Nosila je ime silne planine, no njena veličina i nije bila grandiozna – tek 21 metar. Iako se o njoj pričalo u superlativima, trajala je tek nešto više od današnjih mobitela – pet godina. Povučena je iz upotrebe kad su joj, kao i mnogim mobitelima danas, potrošene baterije, piše Morski.hr.

Diverzantska podmornica P-01 Velebit proizvedena je u splitskom Brodogradilištu za specijalne objekte, ali je kao i mnoga započeta vojna plovila namijenjena Jugoslavenskoj ratnoj mornarici u hrvatskim brodogradilištima tijekom Domovinskog rata zaplijenjena i prerađena/modernizirana. Za razliku od nekih drugih brodova, Jugoslavenska narodna armija je pri povlačenju iz Splita podmornicu doslovno očistila od uređaja i svega korisnog tako da je osim čeličnog trupa, njena izgradnja praktički išla iz početka.
